Evelyn is 2 years old!
We celebrated her birthday on Sunday October 5 with Grandma and Grandad.
The morning of, Matt and I went to Publix to pick up her cake and then to Party City for balloons! She loved the balloons but her cake was the biggest hit! She had been talking about her birthday cake for weeks prior. And she was not disappointed! We let her pick at her cake for 40 minutes. Little did we know that we would sit it in front of her two more times by the end of the day. Hey, you only turn 2 once. :) And last year doesn't count because she wouldn't touch her cake. Birthday girl was spoiled with all her birthday presents. Matt and I had surprised her the week prior with her play kitchen (she loves it)! She also received dishes, cups and utensils for her kitchen, a play cookie set from Grandma and Grandad (we play with this all day long), puzzles, clothes, blocks, a remote control Doc McStuffin car, Little Mermaid figurines, fairy wings, books and a Frozen tin box to put her treasures. But her favorite "gift" has been the Frozen birthday card that Aunt Crystal sent. You press a button and it plays "Let It Go". She loves to press the button and twirl and dance and sing. Ah, these times are the best. :) Enjoy the pictures of the day's festivities.
